The goal of this master's thesis is therefore to find out, what connection there is between the topics of corporate culture and employee loyalty and whether corporate culture in family businesses can contribute to creat greater employee loyalty. A variety of motivational factors and values are taken into account, which should provide information in a quantitative research about what is important to the employees of Vorarlberg and how they perceive the corporate culture in their companies. With the help of a standardized questionnaire, people with an average age of 34.93 years were reached. It became apparent, that the factors pleasant working atmosphere, job security, further training/development, leadership and work-life balance are the most important motivating factors. In the area of values, reliability, honesty, sense of responsibility, respect and fairness are the most important. The results were achieved regardless of the form of the company.
