• Das „Gestalterische Pflanzenwissen“ bietet dem Design eine systematische Vorgehensweise im Umgang mit Pflanzen. Die Methode beinhaltet eine konkrete Handlungsanleitung und führt zu innovativen Designlösungen. Die gestalterische Auseinandersetzung mit der Natur wirkt der Entfremdung entgegen, denn die allumfassende disruptive Technologie der Gegenwart vergrößert zusehends den Abstand zwischen Natur und Mensch. Außerdem ist es von Bedeutung, hierfür adäquate Designlösungen bereitzustellen, um die Sehnsucht nach Natur zu stillen. Um ein Problembewusstsein für die „Naturentfremdung“ in der Gesellschaft zu verankern, bieten sich intermediale Interventionen in Form von kurzen Videoclips an.
• "Creative Knowledge of Plants" offers design a systematic approach in dealing with plants. The method contains concrete instructions for action and leads to innovative design solutions. The creative confrontation with nature counteracts alienation as the all-encompassing disruptive technology of the present is visibly increasing the distance between nature and man. It is also essential to provide adequate design solutions for this in order to satisfy the longing for nature. Intermedial interventions in the form of short video clips are a good way of anchoring awareness of the issue of "alienation from nature" in society.
